We in your leadership roles wanted to take a moment to express sincere thanks to all of you. Recently we've been rolling out some new ideas and new ways of getting things done. Some of these things seem to have come across as confusing, and others have seemed to be upsetting. We also have not always come across as the most patient or tolerant in some situations. We apologize for that.
Any of our long time members of the Chuckles & Laughs Show will recall some of the more "troubled times" and how some of the people we let into the show weren't the best choices to make. There's no need to get into lengthy details here, however, in the past there have been incidents of theft, abuse, harassment, bullying, and frankly situations where police and/or legal actions should have been pursued. There were indeed some dark days. To say that these incidents have left us a little ... edgy is likely an understatement, and that will sometimes show through more than we intend it to.
Having written all of that, we want you all to know that while we may snap or seem aggressive about some of the rules and changes being made with the show, our intentions are pure and come from a place of protecting ourselves and all of you from any of the mistakes of the past happening again. We aim to create a positive and enjoyable atmosphere and do our best to cut off bad behaviors before they become major problems. Our intentions are to streamline things and do everything we can to ensure your experience with this project is a fun and positive memory for years to come.
So we thank you, all of you who are performing; filming; lighting; sweeping; assisting; and everyone who simply just shows up to be part of this amazing experience. While we all endure changes to both personal and professional lives, and the stress these changes can cause, we are grateful for your patience, understanding, and willingness to work with us rather than against us. Even during the times when we're not the best at expressing it, know that you are all highly appreciated for what you do.
